Many people do not realize how much sleep they have. Do you believe that the minute your head hits the pillow you are sleeping on is normal? Do you believe that you need to sleep during your lunch break or as soon as you get home from work? Do you feel frustrated or angry easily? All of these are signs that you sleep deprived.
It is more difficult to determine sleep deprivation in children. Many children react differently to adults when they are tired. The problem is lack of sleep and the symptoms of sleep apnea in children seem to be ADHD. Children will become anxious and have difficulty concentrating. They become very active during the day rather than tired.
Sleep apnea also looks different. They will snore or breathe with open mouth. They may have some disturbances in their sleep but not always. They may swell and change a lot. However, many times sleep deprivation is caused because as parents we do not send our children to bed early enough. They might wake up too early. Children need longer sleep times and if you make them late, they lose important sleep that allows them to produce growth hormones and consolidate their memories.
In adults, lack of sleep occurs as a long-term and short-term memory problem because your brain cannot process memories. It can also hinder the brain from the time it takes to clean up waste. This can affect memory and contribute to morning headaches.
You may experience other symptoms such as fatigue and drowsiness, headaches and snacks. I realize that snacks look like strange symptoms, but when our brains are often tired, we misinterpret our cues as hunger and we make poor decisions that can make us snack.
Everyone has their own symptoms. This is not a comprehensive list of symptoms, but it does give you a place to start remembering what's going on in your life due to sleep and do you have the right to spend 1 to 2 hours of sleep a night?
