Do you know? - 10 Facts About the Human Body
Our bodies need a lot of nutrients to do the work they need to keep us healthy. What are some of these daily functions?
1. The average heart rate is about 72 times per minute at 4,320 times per hour. 103, 680 times on average daily.
2. Our lungs breathe in and out about 15 times in a minute. That's 900 breaths in an hour and about 21,600 breaths per day.
3. We use an average of 2 medium-sized meals a day where the digestive system breaks down into usable energy supplies.
4. Our sensory organs are always used.
5. Our kidneys and urinary system produce unwanted products.
6. We sweat when we exercise.
7. Our nervous system is always used during the day and at night.
8. We have an internal hormone system that is responsible for many internal functions including cellular growth, reproductive pattern and cell reproduction.
9. Skin is the largest organ of the body.
10. The liver is considered the second largest organ after the skin and weighs approximately 2kg in adults.
Our bodies always work: day and night. There are a number of physiological processes that occur when we are awake and when we are asleep. Our diet is a way to provide our body with the nutrients needed for these tasks. A balanced diet is one that contains all the nutrients you need, which contains the right amount of protein, vitamins and minerals, carbohydrates, enzymes and fiber.
Pollutants, Chemicals and Bacteria
We also use a large number of environmental pollutants, chemicals and toxins, which are not mentioned as nutrients that we are exposed to on a daily basis. Our bodies need to process this too, when we inhale or digest them, both good and bad. Some examples of possible irritation to the body include:
· Car's exhaust.
· Cigarette smoke.
· Industrial smoke and waste products.
· Bacteria & germs.
· Chemicals from makeup, hair products and skin products.
· Food chemicals & preservatives.
· Pesticides either in the air or in food.
· Artificial growth hormone in animal products.
· Artificial plant material.
· Chemicals from medicines and chemical products.
Finding the Right Balance
Our bodies are always functioning, the internal organs are multi-functioning and often occur in procedures. Our food should contain the nutrients and nutrients we need to ensure our bodies do their job to provide us with energy and health.
However, it's not always easy, there are other factors that can be overcome, such as genetic conditions. And it is also true that this is just one equation in many existing or emerging health formulas. But it's one that can be user-friendly. It is one that allows each of us to look at their own health and consider the toxins we take with the nutrients we provide to our bodies.
Health Equations: More Nutrition than Poison
Providing the body with more nutrients than toxins produces a healthier equation and is here a great job. Let's compare the nutrients we give our bodies as a friendly defense building compound. It will be argued from the equality point of view, that if we have a healthier compound than toxins in our body, we are more likely to have health.
On the other hand, toxins are like enemies to the body's defense mechanisms, they attack and act as unwanted cells. The body's immune system reacts to toxins, it works hard to deactivate them and then eliminate them. But what if there is too much toxin for the immune system to cope with? Then the balance goes out and our health declines.
If the game takes in enough nutrients to keep our bodies healthy; to keep the pro-active immune system free of stress and to keep the balance of nutrients and toxins in check, we give our bodies the help they need. Our body is a natural system and nature provides many different and wonderful sources of food for us to benefit from and to learn from.
