During your puberty time is the best time to take advantage of your hormones and growth to make yourself taller. What you eat is very important not only during puberty but throughout your life. If you do not feed yourself what your body needs to build and rebuild, you will be short. Getting plenty of exercise when you are young can help release growth hormones that will help you gain more size. Children who are unable to go out and play outside are some of the key elements in their growth. Exercise will release the hormones the body needs.
