A Running Stairs Cardio Workout That Gets You Lean Quickly

Have you seen Rocky 4? This is where Rocky went to the Soviet Union to fight the great Russian fighter. Rocky trained in the wilderness, jogging through the snow, cutting wood for exercise, running hills, and more. Russia's opponents took the opposite approach and trained indoors with nothing but state of the art machines. Well, it's clear that Rocky's "old school" training made it harder and that he eventually defeated this great Russian fighter. That's how I see the ladder using a cardio machine. Climbing the stairs will eventually defeat the cardio machine in efficiently burning stubborn body fat.

People rarely find it difficult to climb stairs. Usually the people you see are elite athletes under the supervision of a coach. If coaches are not there to push them, they may choose to do something easier. This type of cardio exercise is difficult in the right way to increase HGH. HGH increases when you try to alternate for 30-60 seconds followed by 30-60 seconds of less intense effort. This is called interval training, and it can only be one of the best forms of interval training.

Find stairs that have at least 20-30 stairs (tracks with stadium seating in high schools or local colleges are ideal). Walk up the stairs and then go down the stairs 3-5 times. After this warm up you will start exercising.

1) Sprint down the stairs to the top as soon as possible

2) Jog down

3) Repeat for 15 minutes

I know this sounds too easy! You can make it more difficult by choosing longer stairs. You can jog a few miles before or after the stairs. The key to the whole exercise is that you hit the stairs, your body releases HGH and helps you lean forward. Obviously you will get better results if you eat a low calorie diet.
