Sexual Health of Men!

Men's sexual health isn't as complicated as women's. Show men a certain type of image and if the brain and nervous system work well to produce nitric oxide, then the reaction will usually occur. It is not to deny any mental, emotional, and spiritual components but it is a physical component that has the greatest impact on men's sexual health. This article will focus on what men can do to improve the physical components of their sexual health. The side benefit is that these suggestions can also have a positive effect on your overall health and how you age.

In all the information I gathered to prepare this article, two important issues continue to arise. Both of these health issues are consistently present. The first is the hormone level. The second is cardiovascular health. Most men will understand how hormone levels can be used but few consider cardiovascular health.

Cardiovascular Health!

Your cardiovascular health is important to your sexual health because of your overall health. The reason why the health centers are endothelial cells that straighten your blood vessels. The formation of nitric oxide occurs in these endothelial cells. Nitric oxide researchers believe that nitric oxide can correct up to 90% of all penile dysfunction. When endothelial cells are damaged by high blood pressure, high sugar levels, cholesterol, and smoking, this reduces nitric oxide production. Endothelial cells and their ability to produce nitric oxide are important for male sexual health.

Hormone levels!

At its simplest level, sex is simply a hormone-driven function to maintain the species. Thus, American men's sexual health is in jeopardy. Testosterone levels have dropped over the last 20 years. Testosterone is the main male sex hormone. It plays an important role in maintaining bone and muscle mass. Low testosterone levels have been linked to lowering libido and diabetes. Diabetes can affect vascular endothelial cells that combine lower testosterone levels.

Over the past two decades, testosterone levels in American men have decreased by 16 percent. The investigators don't know why. But there are some hints. Recent Nursing Health Studies have revealed some important truths that happen to women. Some of these truths also apply to men's sexual health as they affect both hormone levels and cardiovascular health.

In addition, as testosterone levels have decreased this has resulted in reduced muscle mass and tone, reduced metabolism and energy and increased body fat. Not a sexy combination! You can accept and do nothing about it. Or, you can start living your life by making healthy eating and exercise choices. Choices that will help your body actually look younger than you are.

You Have More Control Over the Process!

Each day you replace about 1% of your cells. This means that 1% of your body is new today, 1% is new tomorrow, and 1% is daily and every day of your life. You choose whether or not these new cells will be properly nourished. You choose whether you will have healthy and vibrant cells that act young. Or, diseased and inactive cells that act for a long time.

The sexual health of your body will be influenced by the choices you make. I call it "1% Solution!" and it will positively affect your cardiovascular and sexual health.

Choices that affect sexual health!

Nursing Health Studies emphasizes five critical lifestyles and dietary behaviors. They are:

o Carbohydrates - Slow Verse Quickly!

o Fat - Artificial verse!

o Protein - Animal or Plant!

o Weight - your BMI!

o Exercise - Is It Important?

If you look at this list, three critical components appear: Diet, Weight, and Exercise! Now you might think that this only happens to women. Its not! Each of these factors will affect your cardiovascular health and your hormone balance. Each of these factors also affects the health of your endothelial cells and their ability to produce nitric oxide. Nitric oxide production is the most important component for sexual health of men. Let's see how all of these factors affect your sexual health.

Diet Components!

You are what you eat and drink. The sexual health of your body and the cardiovascular health of your circulatory system will be greatly determined by your food and beverage choices. These choices will also affect your potential illness and how old you are.

Your first choice is in the carbohydrate area. Do you choose foods and drinks high in fast carbohydrates (easy sugars)? If you are, you should understand that:

o Fast carbs interfere with hormone levels.

o Fast carbohydrates create the potential for high blood sugar that can cause diabetes.

o High blood sugar can damage endothelial cells from your bloodstream, reducing nitric oxide production which is important for sexual and cardiovascular health.

Learn to eat high in low carb (complex carbohydrates). Slow carbohydrates will help keep your blood sugar levels low and your hormone levels balanced. Drink water instead of sweet drinks and diet soda. Drinking water hydrates your system, helps you balance your hormone levels, and helps in weight management.

Your second choice is in the field of fat. Eliminate all trans fat from your diet and replace it with natural fat, heart health. Nursing Health Studies clearly show how trans fat interferes with fertility in women. At least four grams of trans fat (along with two tablespoons of margarine, one simple order of French fries or one donut) begin to disrupt their hormone balance.

How much of your diet consists of trans fat from fast food restaurants? How many orders for fries and donuts did you eat at work? While I can't give you hard research on men, it makes sense that we can be just as trans fat as women. It's time to combine foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (such as wild fish, cold water fish, walnuts, and hemp seeds) as essential fats help balance hormone levels and promote healthy cell function.

Your third choice is protein. According to Nursing Health Studies, women who get their protein from plant sources instead of animals are taking a big step towards increasing fertility. Animal protein can affect your sexual health. It also has a direct effect on cancer!

If you can't afford to lose your beef, pork or chicken, spend time, energy and extra time to make sure that this source of protein is hormone-free. This also applies to your dairy products. Most industries still rely on the injection of hormones into their livestock to help increase food production. Eating meat from animals and their side effects will affect your hormone levels. If you're not switching to a plant-based protein source, make sure your meat and dairy sources are hormone-free.

Heavy Components!

Like it or not it affects your body's sexual health. Why not? Because fat interferes with your hormone balance! Fat also stresses your cardiovascular system. The extra stress on your cardiovascular system will affect your body's sexual health. Currently, 66% of Americans are overweight with at least one third being obese. Diet is not the answer. America has been dieting for the past 50 years. It has no real impact on slowing down obesity and obesity.

You need a paradigm shift from "diet" to "healthy eating". Make food choices based on how it will improve your health and well-being, not how it will affect your weight. Most people who do this see their weight stable or decreasing.

Training Components!

Exercise is important for sexual and cardiovascular health. Inactivity slows down the body's ability to respond to insulin and makes you less able to absorb blood sugar. A study from the Electronic Journal of Human Sexuality emphasized that people who exercise regularly:

o Feel better about themselves.

o Think of them as more sexually desirable.

o Experience a higher level of satisfaction.

It is always important to check with your doctor or healthcare provider before starting an exercise program. Once you have them OK, instead of trying to get at least 30 minutes of exercise daily. Aerobic exercises like walking, jogging, biking, and swimming are important and seem to increase circulation to the pelvis and reproductive organs. But don't forget about strength training exercises. Strength training exercises will help you maintain good health and bone density. In addition, strength training exercises will increase your space awareness. This is a very positive feeling that enhances your overall well-being.

Nitric Oxide Components!

You cannot live without nitric oxide. Your cardiovascular system cannot function properly without nitric oxide. Your body's sexual health revolves around nitric oxide production. Nitric oxide production depends on the health of the endothelial cells in your bloodstream, and the adequate supply of L-arginine essential amino acids.

High blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol and smoking can all affect your endothelial cells in a negative way. Damage to these endothelial cells will reduce nitric oxide production. This may affect blood flow to the sexual organs resulting in reduced sensitivity and / or erectile dysfunction.

Because nitric oxide is synthesized from the essential amino acids L-arginine, your diet needs to include sources of protein and / or supplements that contain these amino acids. It should be emphasized that L-arginine is not a hormone and not testosterone. However, when taken into the body, it can cross the blood-brain barrier to indicate that the hypothalamus naturally triggers the pituitary gland to produce growth hormones. This is the key to eliminating any side effects that are usually associated with hormone supplements like DHEA and HGH.

Please note that L-arginine has a dark side and may cause some serious side effects. Read my article, "L-arginine, Nitric Oxide and Sexual Health!" for more information on these essential amino acids.

Conclusion!

If you keep living inactive, consuming animal protein, sugary drinks, refined foods, refined body fat, and inadequate nitric oxide production, you will become part of the new reality for America. This new reality includes an increase in the outbreak of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and stroke, persistent levels of cancer, and poor sexual health, especially for people over 40. As Aristotle says, "We Do What We Repeat!"

By taking the necessary steps to improve your diet, managing your weight, exercising properly and increasing your body's ability to produce nitric oxide you will experience positive changes in your body's sexual health. If you take these positive steps over and over again, you will also improve your health and slow down your aging.

One Final Thought!

Although the hormone balance between men and women is different, the process of change is the same. Many measures that improve men's sexual health will also help improve women's sexual health. Encourage your partner or partner to implement this change with you. If you both take steps to improve your health, then both will be rewarded in the bedroom, and in your full life.

Until the future, hopefully both of us!
