It is frustrating for some people when they see that their relatives and friends are above them. It seems to be a trend nowadays especially for young people to grow older than older people and relatives, this may have to do with the genetics, nutrition and activities they combine. * Abdominal exercises

One of the reasons why some people look so short is because of poor posture. You can improve your posture and look higher by strengthening your back muscles. In doing this, you also need to have strong abdominal muscles to balance the front and back of your body; thus, resulting in better posture. It is advisable to try lifting exercises and reducing stress to meet this goal.

* Alternate foot kicks or swim in the dry ground

This exercise targets the bottom and it starts with putting your stomach flat and your body needs to be fully extended. Put your hands straight, palms down. Raise your right foot as high as possible (higher than your right arm) and keep your feet straight. Hold this position for 4 seconds before lowering your right leg. Do the same for the other leg so you can hold this position for up to 20 seconds. Try this one step at a time and see if you can reach the time required.

* Swim

So now you might be asking "how can swimming improve my height?"

Pool combines cardio training and stretching all in one. Use breast strokes to help stretch your spine. You can use other strokes as long as the spine and your limbs receive maximum benefits to help you get higher.

* Stretch

One of the basic exercises that can help you grow taller is stretching. This method does not end with stretching, but exercises that use this technique include skipping, running, resistance training, jumping, swimming and more. This is classified as a dynamic stretching exercise that helps in the production of growth hormones. And the higher intensity training you do, the more growth hormones your body can produce.
