Don't forget the good side of Barry Bonds when you see him in court for trial for perjury and obstruction of justice. This latest controversy arises as false accusations of drug use increase performance. Let's look at the facts for a moment. Does he use anabolic steroids? The majority of the uninformed public would agree that he did. He is always among the leaders of the league when it comes to looking like every player in league statistics is rising. He pursues history and hits a monumental home running at an alarming rate. That part is fact, cut and dried.

Unfortunately, most people who rob Bonds seem to take vengeance on him for his attitude or maybe for his alleged use of steroids. Some skeptics say he has taken "the obvious," HGH or whatever competition may have been used as well.

So what about everything else? What about the year-end awards in Pittsburgh or the 46 homes he went to in San Francisco in 1993 before a number of new designer steroids were created? Some missed the three MVP awards he won in his first seven seasons before any steroid talks, while winning four in the next 14 seasons. The 1986 rookie was selected for 14 all-star matches and won eight outstanding gold gloves.

There is no need to go into each of these statistics icons and the point of argument for the point. However, that doesn't make sense, as all this nonsense about steroids has become a major topic of baseball, athletes are beginning to fall one by one and people are beginning to recognize this player's skills. To be honest, can anyone give a fair argument that you can hit the slider on your feet for steroids? The power of engineering verses of skill is an argument that has almost settled itself in baseball. But this is an arrogant fool who doesn't know about baseball physics and just pretends to be a liar.

One of the most eloquent baseball movements is the Barry Bonds swing. It is one of the most beautiful sites that baseball fans can see. Bats are smooth bats with strong polished strokes. There is confidence and the essence of him that is incomparable, which is more praising his eagle than the discipline on the plate. He ran the base like a horse and hit it just because he hit power.

It is cruel when beauty and skill are what we choose to entertain, so we are quick to overlook that attractiveness because of misunderstandings or possible drug addiction in the twilight of an athlete's career. Viagra is a drug that enables a person to function sexually, but does it improve one's performance? Erection will not make you do great.

Are bond numbers increasing due to steroids? The possibility is debatable. That shouldn't let him get the big picture. This is a guy who played 22 major league seasons and was always in the top class. It can be said that steroids are really improving, but no one can question that he is one of the best athletes to play games and one of the most fun to watch. Babe Ruth has many well-documented problems with women and alcoholism. Looking back now, he, like the former Giant star, should be among the marquee names in the discussion of 'best players'. Hank Aaron, another legend, who had surpassed Bon in the homerun race, had a terrible swing. Many former great players have changed props. Sports is entertainment. Not just for statistics and wins.
