Organic Arable Farming

Lush agricultural agriculture reduces the environmental health problems created by intensive agricultural practices. Organic farming methods prevent land degradation and reverse the negative effects of intensive agriculture. For example, you will improve your environmental health, continue to improve the health of your land, and improve your own health - if you eat the products you farm - by following four edible agricultural practices:

  1. Crop rotation

  2. Design biodiversity in farms

  3. Eating soil and ensuring soil nutrition

  4. Plant pests and disease resistance

Organic agriculture encompasses a growing variety of crops, at different times. (You can use organic farming techniques on a smaller scale in your organic vegetable garden.) Plants should be selected for their natural resistance to pests, mold and other diseases. Soil should be fed animal feed and green fertilizer (compost material). It needs to be well isolated (recognizing the importance of worms and what worms eat). Crop cultivation should take into account biodiversity and / or building maintenance. The goal is to develop a rich and diverse environment that supports a variety of organisms and produces nutrients and minerals for healthy plant growth.

Organic farming is opposed to relying on chemicals for pesticides and / or fertilizers. Organic farming relies on natural strategies, such as ladybugs - rather than pesticides - that consume aphids, scales, mites and more, to reduce pests (if you release bugs in your field or garden, use 10 to 18 ladybugs per 100 square feet of plant plants). Be careful to buy healthy ladybug beetles (some can be infected with parasites). Organic rabbit farms also rely on mixed farming methods as opposed to chemical fertilizers.

Commercial agricultural operations use herbicides, pesticides and plant growth hormones to grow their fruits and vegetables. Organic farming operations utilize methods of crop and livestock production that are more than just opting out of specific pesticides, fertilizers, genetically modified organisms, antibiotics, dyes, artificial additives, growth hormones and more. Natural weed management practices and natural insect control programs are tactics used in organic farms.

Organic farming promotes crop rotation and crop cultivation, and focuses on the 'host' relationship to predatory relationships' balanced. Growing crops, compost fertilizers, and other plant materials, also known as green manure, and animal fertilizers are recycled into the soil and used to improve and maintain soil fertility. Livestock in organic farms is fed 100% organic, cereals and protein supplements.

The main reasons farmers grow organically are concerns about the impact of chemicals on health, the impact of conventional agriculture on the quality and conservation of land, and the overall impact of conventional chemicals and agriculture on sustainable environmental health. Organic farmers are concerned about the environment and their role in health. These farmers see organic farming as part of the solution, not the problem, of modern agriculture. Their goal is to:

  • Protect the environment

  • Reduce soil degradation

  • Reduce soil erosion

  • Reduce pollution

  • Improve and maintain soil fertility

  • Improve global biodiversity

  • Reduce, reuse and recycle organic matter through composting, replanting, redesigning and other environmental positive techniques

  • Maximizing livestock health, naturally, and minimizing diseases and issues related to unfair agricultural practices

  • Use renewable and sustainable sources in organic farming and try to market products locally to minimize environmental impact.

The benefits of organic farming are not only in healthy food but also in reducing environmental health issues. In addition to achieving this goal, the benefits of organic farming are to produce more delicious, healthy fruits and vegetables.
