Thousands of people every day are burdened by the infamous disability. Acne is one of the most common dermatological diseases that afflicts teens and adults. Doctors for decades have been trying to get to the bottom of this daily disaster. The most frequent answer in recent times has been to prescribe patients with harsh medications to reduce irritating substances. These medications are accompanied by severe side effects and possible organ damage, but can the answers to many of the effects of acne be found in the foods we eat?
Nutritionists and physicians have thought for years that many severe acne cases can be treated with nutritional therapy. In a study of more than one hundred articles conducted by a group of doctors and dieters published by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (March 2013) found a strong link to the use of dairy and acne.
Many dairy farms use synthetic hormones to increase the production of cow's milk and muscle tissue. Testosterone and growth hormone are among the most common synthetic substances. Testosterone and growth hormone are associated with oil production. The oil secreted by your skin is called sebum, which is testosterone in a specific target.
Additional synthetic hormones injected into dairy and beef supply in the United States and other western countries are on the rise. Hormones are injected into animal products created for human use in animals. The traces of hormones and various other biological substances injected into animals are kept in fat, blood, and can even be passed on to the young through the blood of the central cord, and through the membrane like the placenta. Also processed foods containing chemicals such as BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) act as hormone inhibitors, meaning that they can stop the body's hormones from doing what they should. These types of chemicals are added to foods to improve shelf life and allow manufacturers to produce larger quantities of goods at a faster rate. Such substances prevent the body from performing the general functions necessary in the development and metabolism of the day and stress the function of the kidneys and liver. This imbalance can increase the body's reaction as good as rest.
Breakouts are physical expressions of stress that occur in the body, reaction to stress. The liver and kidneys can become overworked and more toxic causing a stress response due to hormone disruption. Therefore, victims of malnutrition may try to cut back on milk and choose less processed foods or opt for free, organic and fresh animal products.
