How can a maximum security prisoner add muscle?
I often wonder about this. And recently, a customer gave me a very important hint for this puzzle.
Here's the deal:
First and foremost, it is important to note that the idea of a very large band detainee is very "Hollywood".
In actual prisons, not every prisoner is 6 & 5 and 320lbs of chopped muscle. However, many men manage to gain a large amount of muscle upon entering the prison.
How did they do it? What is the key to building muscle that we can learn from detention?
Letter From Maximum Security Prison
One of my clients teaches in the maximum security prison. He wrote a letter with an interesting meaning.
He said that the offenders 1) work hard, 2) eat a lot ... but also that they ...
Sleep More Than The Average Man!
Think about it. There aren't many things to do on the "inside" so many prisoners might get extra sleep.
Can Sleep Really Be The Secret To Massive Profit?
If you don't think sleep can be the key to muscle growth, let's check what happens during sleep.
When you capture several zzzz bodies you finally get a chance to repair and rebuild your cells.
30-45 minutes after you enter the land of your dreams, your body starts releasing Human Growth Hormone or HGH. As the term is commonly known, it is because many steroid users illegally take extra HGH to gain muscle mass.
Growth hormones are powerful hormones that increase muscle mass, repair cells, strengthen the immune system ... among many other benefits.
Steroid users spend between $ 500- $ 4,000 a month on HGH ... but your body produces natural supplies every night. So, get that zzz.
The key to gaining weight
If you are a slim man and want to gain weight, getting some extra sleep can be a puzzle that you have lost.
But don't take my word for it.
Take it from a guy who knows a little about weight.
Musashimaru, a well-known sumo writer, once asked how he grew from 290 pounds to a shocking 520 kg.
He explains that sumo wrestlers sleep well after meals to ensure slow food intake and maximum muscle mass retention.
Action Action
Hopefully this article has opened your eyes to the importance of sleep. Here are two rewards for you to consider.
# 1) For maximum muscle gain, try your best to get a full night's sleep every night. Some people believe that getting a bed before midnight is better than going to bed at midnight so try to go to bed early.
# 2) Whenever possible, try and hold on to sleep for 20 minutes after your workout (after eating after workouts).
Most of us do not have time to sleep post-workout but if you can squeeze (though occasionally) it can aid recovery and help you in your quest to gain muscle.
